After playing in a soul band for five years, I said I would never play records in public again, but if you're doing nothing, the bug to do something bites. I heard that Maria (Tucciarone) who used to be a receptionist at the Chase during the time I was working there, was having a big party.
I offered my services. Here's a few pictures of the proceedings.
If anyone wants the oldies, I'm ready to do more!!!
Live on stage, in action once again. Forgive the clothing, it was a cowboy fancy dress!
Tutor 2 projectors, just as I used to use in the'70s, projecting images onto the screens behind the stage. The effect was slightly lost due to 1 kilowatt of lighting being used on the bars.
The party was held in the barn at Hoar Park, near Coleshill 300 plus guests had plenty of space to move, also to sit and enjoy the hog roast.
A closer shot of the sound system and the veiled threat of country music to go with the fancy dress theme. Could you think of a cornier name?)
A shot of the almost empty barn, taken to give some idea of the size, this shows slightly less than half of the area.
